The blonde actress told The Sun that it is helping her to gain confidence, because she has never been approached by men since she was engaged. Ellison said, “When I was in the relationship I was never chatted up by guys, but now all that's changed. "It's made me feel really attractive and nice. It's been good for my ego. Having someone cheat on you and having a relationship that ends so badly, you really need that. "I want to have children and get married but it is not the main priority at the moment. I want to go on single girls' holidays and have fun with my mates." Jennifer Ellison has shared the hot adventures behind the scenes of her new reality show Time of Your Life, based on the film Dirty Dancing. Ellison, who is one of the judges of the show, reveals romance between the wannabes is something quite ordinary. Ellison told The Sun: "There were loads and loads of romances. Everyone was very sexy, very fit and things got very hot."The lads, walking around in their vests, were gorgeous." She also admitted that her time on the talent quest was very challenging sometime. "I couldn't have favourites, and it broke my heart to see some of them leave. "I was their judge and mentor, so I had to be professional. Some of the nicest people got booted off but it's just all about talent."

Jennifer Ellison has revealed how she suffered during the six-year relationship with her boyfriend Tony Richardson. She sorrowsly remembered that Tony once threw her a beer bottle over the head, breaking her collarbone during the drunken rows that punctuated their violent relationship. Jennifer says, “I felt this crash on the back of my head and went dizzy. He'd smashed me with a beer bottle. When I put my hand to my head, I felt blood. My face, eyes, hair and minidress were covered in blood and I nearly fainted.' Finally, Jennifer discovered he had cheated on her with 33-year-old secretary Shalimar Wimble and broke up with him. But she says that mental abuse is more damaging that physical. 'I was the loneliest person in the world,' she says. 'He was no companion. It was as if he was just my lodger, not my fiance.'
